The European Movement in Northern Ireland (EMNI) has said the speech by the British Prime Minister in Florence on 22 September did not put forward any ideas to deal with the border on the island of Ireland as the UK leaves the Customs Union.

- Common Travel Area
- other areas of north-south cooperation
- specialised committee
- replacement of Protocol by subsequent UK-EU agreement
The Irish border issue could still potentially scupper the whole deal.... the Irish border issue has just been pushed further down the road.. it still hasn't been resolved & there will need to be a lot more talks to get it resolved.
